The Bodyguards series of EN149:2001 approved respirators have been additionally tested to meet the Dolomite clogging test for enhanced breathability. These respirators are intended for use by any professional requiring higher particle filtration efficiencies than that which is provided by standard pleated masks. Bodyguards Respirators offer dust, mist and fume protection, making them suitable for both Healthcare and Industrial professionals.Respiratory protection for aerosol-generating procedures
During aerosol-generating procedures, there must be minimal particulate respirator face-seal leakage to fully protect Healthcare Workers from exposure to small particle respiratory aerosols. The following respiratory protection options should be considered:- A particulate respirator at least as protective as a NIOSH-certified N95, EU FFP2 or equivalent is the minimum level of respiratory protection required for workers performing aerosol-generating procedures.
- Appropriate procedures should be performed each time a disposable particulate respirator is worn, before entering the isolation room/area.
